    Whether you prefer cash, credit, or check, we've got you covered. Additionally, while we accept tips through various methods, please consider tips in cash to ensure a direct and immediate appreciation for our talented barbers. For online appointments, you have the flexibility to pay in full at the time of scheduling or choose to reserve-only and pay at the time of your appointment. Please note that when reserving an appointment (by phone or online), your card on file will only be charged in the event of a no-show, ensuring a seamless and secure transaction process. See below for our No-Show policy.
  • How do I schedule an appointment?
    Booking an appointment at Joe's Barber Lounge is simple and easy using our convenient online booking system on our website or through Instagram. Simply select your preferred barber, the service type, and date/time that works best for you. We recommend booking in advance, as we tend to fill up quickly. You may also call during business hours (860) 537-6071. When calling or booking online, a credit card will be required to secure the appointment. Your card will only be charged if you elect to pre-pay or in the event of a no-call/no-show. Walk-ins are also welcome whenever possible; however, priority will be given to those who book an appointment. See below for our walk-in policy. We look forward to seeing you soon at Joe's Barber Lounge! Please note: Underage clients need an adult to schedule the booking.
  • Why do you ask for my email and cell phone number?
    This allows us to send convenient text and email reminders, facilitating hassle-free appointment management. Your phone number is also crucial for us to reach out, especially in the event of rescheduling, confirmations, or our last effort to prevent a potential no-show situation. Plus, you'll receive instant notifications about earned rewards and exclusive coupons via text and/or email, ensuring you're always in the know about our latest offers. Reminder schedule: You will receive a total of up to 3 reminders via text and/or email. At time of scheduling 2 days before the appointment 2 hours before your appointment. Reminders are a great way to make sure you keep your appointment and never have to worry about No-show fees.
  • Why do I have to give you my credit card if I am paying in-store?
    If paying in-store, your card will not be charged, allowing you to use your payment option of choice. We ask for a credit card to be on file only in the event of no-shows and last second cancellations. We kindly request a minimum 24-hour notice for cancellations to allow the opportunity to fill the appointment slot with another client. See our No-Show policy below.
  • Why do I have to enter my information every time I schedule online?
    When using the website, we ask you to enter your information each time you schedule to prioritize your privacy and prevent unauthorized access. On the app (coming soon), you have the convenience of saving your account for future scheduling and rescheduling. Regardless of the platform, by consistently entering the same name (ex. Brad vs Bradley), email, and phone number, our reward system will seamlessly recognize your loyalty account, ensuring that your services contribute to your rewards.
  • No-Show and Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy
    Thank you for choosing Joe's Barber Lounge for your grooming needs. Our mission is to deliver exceptional service while upholding the mutual respect of our clients and skilled barbers. To maintain this standard, we kindly request your cooperation in providing 24-hr notice for any changes to your appointments. In the event of a no-show without prior notice, a 100% charge will be applied. This policy is designed to compensate our barbers for their time and expertise and, importantly, to show respect to other clients who may have eagerly anticipated that appointment. To reduce the frequency of no-shows, clients with a prior no-show will be asked to prepay for future bookings. In some instances, scheduling online may not be available for these clients. In extreme cases, we reserve the right to refuse service to individuals who consistently do not show up for their appointments. These measures are in place to ensure fair access to our services for all clients. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and collaboration in creating a welcoming and respectful environment at Joe's Barber Lounge.
  • Are walk-ins welcome?
    Absolutely! For day-of appointments, walk-ins are welcome! While we do our best to accommodate, priority is given to scheduled appointments. To secure your spot on the same day, we recommend giving us a call ahead. This way, we can either reserve a spot for you or provide an estimate of your wait time. Planning ahead is always preferred to guarantee your preferred barber at the best time for you! When scheduling, be mindful of important engagements, holidays, back-to-school, etc. You can schedule online or by calling the shop in the days leading up to your visit. This ensures we can best meet your needs and provide you with the optimal experience.
  • How does the online Waitlist work?
    Clients can join the Waitlist when their barber's schedule is fully booked for the day (no open times at all). If the barber has a cancellation or an opening in their schedule that fits an appointment, the first client on the Waitlist will be notified so they can grab the spot. The client will have 10 mins to book the opening before the opportunity is given to the next client on the Waitlist. This process will continue through each client on the Waitlist until the opening is booked. As the online option requires online payment, we limit the wait-list. Your payment will only be processed at the time of your service, saving you and your professional time. This is different than a walk-in appointment. See the Walk-in policy above. NOTE: If a client does not book within 10 minutes, they are removed from the list and will not be notified of any other time slots that open up that day. The Waitlist is for same-day openings and will not transfer over to a future date.
  • How do the rewards work?
    We are thrilled to announce our rewards system at Joe's Barber Lounge! For every $150 spent on our services and products, you'll earn a $10 reward. Once earned, we'll send you a text with a unique code that can be redeemed towards a future service. It's our way of expressing gratitude for your continued support, ensuring that your loyalty to Joe's Barber Lounge comes with extra perks. Please note: rewards are linked and tracked through the client profile. To guarantee that your rewards are earned properly, please book consistently using identical first name, last name, cell phone, and email address. Enjoy the benefits of looking good and saving along the way!
  • I haven't received my reward.
    If you haven't received it yet, feel free to ask your barber to check your status. If, by chance, a duplicate account was created, dividing your reward potential, we can merge the accounts. This way, your credits will be combined to guarantee you receive the rewards you've earned.
